“We had easy access to the eastern side of Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) and we were right across the street from Estes Lake’s running path… The view of Longs Peak was beautiful in the morning from the deck off the living area and we enjoyed our coffee out there each morning.” – John W.
“Apartment was in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained. Excellent building amenities. We enjoyed the rooftop deck and the pool tables. Very close to Coors Field. Easy walk from Union Station and the train to the airport. Very nice!” – Ed T.
“[We] stayed at this property… and had an excellent time. If you think the view of the mountains from the deck is pretty in the picture, you just have to see it in person — it’s breathtaking. The house itself is very spacious and there was plenty of room for all of us. The town itself is about a mile or so from the house and is small, quiet, and cute. [The town] has a supermarket, a few restaurants, stores, etc. I highly recommend the Waitsfield Farmers Market if you’re around on a Saturday, there are so many wonderful vendors there. All in all, we had a wonderful stay.”
“Quechee is centrally located between the beautiful towns of Woodstock, Vermont and Hanover, New Hampshire, the home of Dartmouth College. Hanover, New Hampshire and Woodstock, Vermont combine the quaintness of beautiful New England villages with the cultural sophistication. Galleries, unique shops, museums and a variety of excellent and unique dining experiences are available in both towns. Killington is approximately 30 minutes from Quechee and offers world class skiing, mountain biking and other year round activities.” – Property Manager
“We had 11 of us meet and stay using both the Rosalie and James… everyone loved the property. We took walks, explored, played yard-games, ate out on the huge front patio…and enjoyed the fire pit area. The large swing hanging from a huge tree was very popular. Shopping for groceries was a 20-minute drive (Wegman’s). There is even a few local restaurants and little convenience store where we bought some ice. We even found a close park with fishing, boat ramp, beach-like area, walking paths, and a small playground. Vineyards are close although we didn’t make them on this trip. Ellen was a pleasure to work with.” – Theresa
“A classic Eastern Shore farmhouse, first mentioned in historical records of 1654 as part of the original Jamestown colony, it has been well maintained over the centuries and lovingly restored in recent years. In this tranquil location there is an endless range of activities to be enjoyed. Swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing or try your hand at crabbing off the thirty-foot dock.”
“Driving up the street we knew we were staying in a special part of the city. The property is beautiful with historic elements in the design and architecture. The location was perfect for walking the Freedom Trail and trekking to the North End for great food and cannoli. Amanda was responsive and available for questions, although most of the info we needed was provided before our arrival. Highly recommend and would stay in again…heck, I would have just there permanently if I could.” – Stacey C.
“We were a group of 9, and all of us were equally pleased. The house is very roomy and atmospheric. The period details were appreciated. Everything we could possibly need to cook a large meal was on hand. Would stay there again, and recommend to anyone looking to stay in Salem Historical District. The location made it very easy to manipulate the area, from local beer store to food store, to tourist sightseeing. Everything was within walking distance.” – Debbie D.
